The short answer
Hijama (wet cupping) at Avni Wellness, Sector 49, Noida, is a 40–50 minute session done with sterile, single-use cups and blades in a private room. It is offered only after a free first consultation and your consent. Many people choose it for deep back and shoulder stiffness; results vary. Open all 7 days, 9:30 AM–8 PM.
What hijama is
A traditional therapy, done with clinical care
Hijama, also called wet cupping, is one of the oldest forms of cupping. It begins like dry cupping: cups create gentle suction on the skin, usually on the upper back. The therapist then makes a few very small, shallow marks with a sterile single-use blade and reapplies the cup to draw out a small amount of blood.
People often come to us for hijama because of long-standing back, neck or shoulder stiffness, or because they have tried it before and found it helpful. It is not right for everyone, and it is never our first suggestion without a proper conversation.
If you are new to cupping, read our guide to cupping therapy. Many people start with dry cupping, which involves no skin marks.

What clinical hijama looks like
These are the standards we hold ourselves to at every session.
Single-use, every time
Cups and blades are sealed, single-use and opened in front of you. Nothing is reused between patients.
Clean and gloved
The skin is cleaned before and after. The therapist wears fresh gloves, and waste is disposed of safely.
Consent first
We explain the process, the marks and the aftercare before we begin. Hijama happens only if you are comfortable.
Who it may suit
Why people ask us about hijama

Who should avoid hijama, and when to see a doctor
Please tell us before your session, and check with your doctor first, if any of these apply to you:
- Pregnancy, or you are currently menstruating
- A bleeding disorder, anaemia, or blood-thinning medication
- Diabetes, especially if cuts are slow to close, or a weakened immune system
- Skin infection, broken skin, eczema or varicose veins over the area
- Recent surgery, fever, or you are feeling unwell or faint
- A heart condition or a pacemaker
Hijama does not replace medical treatment, and we never ask anyone to stop prescribed medicine. For any unexplained or worsening symptom, please consult your doctor first.
